Temporary and Currently

Start earlier this week office gave the temporary Internet access to do the online survey. Sure you all pelik sangatkan, why such big company bagi temporary Internet access? Ini semua antara salah satu cara how company can minimize the cost. Sebelum recession lagi, tempat kerja I ini sudah amalkan minimizing the cost.

So dlm mase sebulan temporary access ini, bukan semua website dapat masuk. Banyak website kena filter (i.e Facebook & Meebo). If we accept to enter the website juga, sure later sooner kene caught and kena tindakan tatatertib.Huhu....that's why I have no chance to online Facebook during office hour. Nak YM pun just using through e-mail. Nasib baik e-mail Yahoo boleh buka.

Berkata tentang penjimatan, currently I sudah start bawa bekal for lunch hour. Mula-mula memang liat nak bangun pagi memasak. But since I sudah start almost 3 days since Monday (semalam tak sempat), I dah mula rasa seronok bawa bekal. Makanan yang I bawa bukan lah lauk grand macam kat gerai makan nasi campur, but I cooked very simple dish only.

On 1st day, I cooked Nasi Goreng Cina instant, while 2nd day I cooked spaghetti mixed with Ayam Brand Chicken Spicy and today I cooked Macarony goreng. At least I already minimize my monthly meals during office hour around RM5.00 daily. So let say in a week RM5.00 x 4 = RM 20.00 (exclude Friday because this time we will go out for lunch at some place away from the office area). So in a month I minimize RM80.00, then minus cost barang-barang memasak like spagetthi, macarony and rencah-rencah for a monthis around RM30.00. So I dah ada saving RM50.00. Huhu...jimatkan!!!

Cuba bayangkan if a year, I jimat dalam RM600. Even the amount is little, but ingat 1 peribahasa yang sangat common dalam kehidupan kita "Sikit-sikit, Lama-lama jadi Bukit". You all pun boleh fikirkan apa yang boleh kita sama-sama minimize daily usage kita. Cuma shopping sahaja yang I belum fikirkan lagi macam mana nak minimize.Hehe...

Hampir tertipu

Last week on Monday I went to Putrajaya, then I ask my friend to drive. Bila start kereta I pecut 100km, stereng kereta sudah mula bergegar. 1st we thought maybe because of new car, tak boleh pecut 100km lagi.

Then 2nd time, I went again to Putrajaya last Sunday and this time, I drove by myself. It happend again when I pecut 100km. Stereng bergegar lagi. Drive dah macam kena penyakit parkinson. My cousin beside me dah bising. She said something wrong with my stereng. Lepas itu dia mengadu dengan abang dia. Abang saudara I pun sama bising dengan I. He ask me to go check with Perodua before my 1st service.

Mula-mula on Monday I called the salesman yang I liaise beli kereta. Then I cerita my car problem, then immediately he said

Salesman: Owh, that one is tyre allignment problem. You need to go to tyre shop.

CikPetiteLady: Why must go to tyre shop? (Wondering)

Salesman: Because, its tyre problem. Only the tyre shop can fix it. Perodua tak ada warranty untuk tyre. Kalau you pergi Perodua service pun diorang tak nak buat.

CikPetiteLady: Ok,Thanks.

Hati I mula tak sedap. Bila I cerita this problem with my colleague, mereka semua bising ask me directly go to Perodua service "Jangan dengar cakap salesman tu. If you pergi juga kedai tyre, nanti masa 1st service you with Perodua, sure kena penalty and your warranty terus batal. Salesman tu tipu you".

Hari ini pula I MC akibat mengalami penyakit "cherries berries" since last night until this morning. Dalam tengahhari condition I agak pulih sedikit. So I decided nak pergi Perodua. But this time, I ajak my cousin to accompany me.

Sampai saja disana, pomen terus test my car. Then they said memang alignment and balancing lari teruk. Bahaya bila drive. So they setup again and no fee charges since it also still new before 1st service and still under warranty. My cousin pun start bagi ceramah dengan I. As he said "Moral of the story, apa-apa jadi dengan kereta ni, cepat-cepat datang service tak pun call abang pun boleh. Jangan percaya cakap salesman tu. Mentang-mentang dah dapat comission, buat sambil lewa je dengan customer.Salesman tu memang nak kena kan kau"

Now I've learned. Memang betul rumours yang I dengar sebelum ini. Salesman kereta memang suka ambil kesempatan dengan customer perempuan. Let say if I dengar juga cakap salesman, sure I lost the warranty. Lepas itu, sure kedai tyre charge I dengan harga yang tidak berpatutan.

MAMALIA family & friends vacation

As per my previous post, I dapat very good feedback. Thanks friends. I tahu you all rindu sangat nak bercuti sama-sama kan. So as per our discussion, I would like to confirm with you all as per below;-

• Tentative date : 24 July (Jumaat) - 26 July (Ahad)
• Waktu bertolak : 8 malam (24 July)
• Payment : RM250 (including accomodation, meals [b/fast,lunch,dinner & bbq], petrol and toll)
• Aktiviti : Tak decide lagi
• List yang join confirm : Alip, Affa, An, Put (saja letak even you 70/30% confirm), Has (purposely juga letak nama even not in latest discussion.. ;P) dan 2 or 4 lagi orang my member.

If ada any friends yang nak join, latest confirmation is by end of June. So babe and dude, marilah ramai-ramaikan lagi kemeriahan cuti-cuti Malaysia.

Untuk membakarkan lagi semangat you all, herewith I post gambar our last vacation memory on 15-16 June 2006.

Karok lagi

Nampaknya this year, if go lepaking with my collagemate, sure go to karok (nickname for karaoke). Mula-mula Alip sms-ed me, ajak lepak on Friday after work. 1st plan lepak rumah Bo and Ju. But last minute, planning cancle and change to lepak at The Curve. But this time, Bo and Ju tak dapat lah join, I think because Ju now pregnant 1st baby so tak elok keluar malam.

Then we meet yesterday at Cineleisure at 8.15pm. Bila I sampai sana baru I tahu rupanya they going to celebrate Diela birthday as well. Nasib baik ada gift shop di sana, so quickly I bought the present.

Karaoke start around 9.30pm at Red Box The Curve. Sambil karaoke, sambil makan, sambil minum. Sampai penuh meja dengan makanan dan minuman. I had so much of fun last night. Suara I of course out-off-piching. That's why I tidak ditakdirkan menjadi seorang penyanyi. Haha...

Special tribute on Teachers Day

Entri kali ini I dedikasikan kepada semua guru-guru yang pernah dan sedang mengajar dan mengenali diri I. Because of you, I've learn lot of things.

Setiap kali tibanya Hari Guru, I pasti akan teringat dan tidak akan pernah lupa pada seorang lecturer yang banyak memberi sokongan dan berkongsi pandangan bersama. Tahun ini, genaplah 3 tahun pemergiannya. Bila teringat kembali memori ketika bersama-sama arwah, hati ini mula luluh dan airmata mula bergenang dikelopak mata. Dan yang pasti, tidak akan ada pengganti sehebat dan seperti dia. Kerana arwah akan sentiasa ada bila dikala memerlukan.

Dear my bestfriend Put your sister is so special. All of us always pray for her. Lot of thing we've learn when we with her. And the best thing about her is, she always make those things from negative change to positive, and from empty to the fullness.

Sempena Hari Guru, this special tribute dedication untuk Arwah Puteri Zalina Addnan (a.k.a Miss Put). Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan bersama-sama dengan orang-orang yang beriman. Al-Fatihah.

Cerita

Almost 4 days I tak dapat online due to my Internet connection problem. During this days, I macam cacing kepanasan sebab tak dapat online. The problem occur since last mid nite Friday. I tried to online but couldn't go through.

Keesokkan harinya (bersamaan Sabtu lepas), I called 100 (TM hotline) to make a report. First the operator said, the Splitter caused the problem. Then I asked, where can I get the new Splitter, she said at hardware store. So start 12pm, my journey to find the Splitter began

12.30 pm:
- Go to Chow Kit ( as my dad say, the nearest hardware store was there)
- Once reach there, the saler said the Splitter out of stock

12.50 pm:
- Tried looking other hardware store
- SMS Ejad = no reply
- Called Alip = no answer

01.15 pm:
- Go to Maju Junction and SOGO to find the Splitter
- After more than 1 hour = no Splitter found
- Alip return called = but I'm driving on that moment

02.30 pm:
- Called Reni, she said got 1 hardware store next to her boutique
- Straight away runner to Taman Dagang Ampang
- Ejad replied sms = got 1 hardware store at Sentul

02.45 pm:
- Reach there and having lunch (dah lapar)

03.00 pm:
- Go to hardware store at Taman Dagang Ampang
- Yes..!!! Ada Splitter disana. Hati girang pulang kerumah

03.30 pm:
- Reach home but have to take my father go to Gombak

04.30 pm:
- Reach home from Gombak
- Hati girang terus ganti Splitter. Tetapi " Alamak..!!! wrong type Splitter...!!!! its phone line Splitter....not ADSL Splitter..arggggghhhhhhhhhh....!!!!!!!!! "

05.00 pm:
- Called Alip ask the hardware store located as per Ejad advise, but Alip informed previously he bought the Splitter at Giant Batu Caves
- Straight away go to Sentul first. Malang sekali, memang tidak ada stock. I tanya the saler mana nak dapat the Splitter. Then the saler said Jln Pudu got stock. Dalam hati I "Adooi...kenapa Jalan Pudu?????????". But that time memang I tak fikir nak kesana. Of course jalan sangat jammed. So, better I go to Giant Batu Caves since Alip kata pernah beli disana.

06.00 pm:
- Sampai Giant Batu Caves. Alhamdulillah, I ketemu jua Splitter yang di cari. Pulang kerumah dengan hati yang girang.

07.00 pm:
- Semangat gantikan Splitter baru. But again, "Aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh.....tak boleh juga. Sakitnya jiwa"

08.00 pm:
- Called 100 TM again. But this time the guy said its not Splitter problem. Its telephone line problem and I supposed contact the telephony technician services. Hati I dah mula menggelegak. But lucky that guy said, "Tak mengapa cik, saya tolong buatkan report untuk cik"

Begini lah journey I yang membuang masa mencari Splitter yang tidak ada related langsung dengan my Internet connection. Semalam technician TM datang, and they checked that actually my modem is spoiled already. And only hari ini mereka gantikan dengan modem baru with no charges since the modem is under warranty (sebenarnya I tak tahu lansung pun modem itu ada warranty). So that's why only today I dapat online dan bercerita ;)

Last sunday morning, my bestfriend Ila just give a birth baby boy. Tetapi, kegembiraan menyambut kelahiran orang baru dikejutkan pula pada pagi semalam dengan berita yang sangat sedih apabila ayahanda Ila pulang ke rahmatullah setelah seminggu koma akibat darah beku dikepala dan cedera parah selepas terbabit dalam kemalangan dikampung halaman arwah di MuaraLabuh, Sumatera, Indonesia. Betapa peritnya Ila menanggung kesedihan didalam kesakitan apatah lagi, Ila tak dapat menatap wajah arwah ayahanda untuk kali terakhir. Arwah selamat dikebumikan semalam di kampung halaman. Semoga roh arwah tenang disana dan dicucuri rahmat-Nya. Al-Fatihah.

Dugaan adalah ujian,
